MMA Showdown 2 takes place this Saturday night from the St Clair Recreation Centre in Woodville, South Australia. The finalised matchups for the event, which will be contested in a ring, were recently released.

As previously announced, a heavyweight tilt between local veteran Kym Robinson and Andrew Machin from Canberra will serve as the main event.

Making the move up from the light heavyweight division, Robinson (14-7-1NC) will be looking to get back on track following his submission loss to TUF Nations middleweight Daniel Kelly back in March.

Machin (8-5) on the other hand will be aiming to build on his Storm Damage heavyweight title win back in August of last year, where the BJJ Brown Belt outpointed Brandon Sosoli.

In the co-main event, Myles Simpson and Peter Cross will meet in a lightweight contest.

    Fight Card:

    • Kym Robinson vs Andrew Machin
    • Myles Simpson vs Peter Cross
    • Clayton Sheppard  vs Jesse Medina – Full Muay Thai Rules
    • Brad Murray vs Shane Mitchell
    • Kerry Smith vs James McGlashan
    • Dalton Jenkins vs Sean Rowe
    • Trent Deboo vs Greg Hearne
    • Marc Luty vs Dale Billett
    • Dave Arthur vs Luke Howard
