Video Highlights: Dan Hooker stops James Vick in the first round

Kiwi lightweight Dan Hooker got back in the winner’s column in a big way over the weekend, stopping American James Vick with a left hook, followed by vicious ground and pound mid-way through the opening frame at UFC on ESPN 4.

The stunning win followed Hooker’s brutal loss to Edson Barboza in December and the 29 year-old Auckland Native is now already looking ahead to the next one.

“I feel like Iaquinta’s the one that makes sense, That name definitely stands out to me. Yeah, Iaquinta, October 5th, meet me in Australia. Get him on a plane!”
