Brisbane based fighter Brendan O’Reilly (pictured) successfully made weight for his lightweight bout against Zhang Lipeng which is scheduled to take place at the Cotai Arena in Macau, China.

The main card will be shown live on Fuel TV, with the preliminary portion streaming via the promotions online service UFC Fight Pass. Michael Bisping takes on Cung Le in the main event.

O’Reilly (5-0) gets his opportunity to fight in the UFC after participating on The Ultimate Fighter – Australia vs Canada season, where he was eliminated in the opening round. The unofficial bout was contested at welterweight.

The Gamebred Combat Club fighter comes up against Zhang Lipeng (7-7-1dr), who comes into the contest as the The Ultimate Fighter China welterweight winner after defeating Wang Sai back in March. Notably, Lipeng lost to fellow Australian fighter Tony Rossini back in 2010 on the Legend FC 2 card.

At the weigh-ins, both O’Reilly and Lipeng came in at an even 155 pounds/70.3 kgs (Weigh-In Video). Also check out our Q&A interview with Brendan O’Reilly leading up to the fight.
