South Australia’s Kym Robinson will square off with New Zealand standout Brandon Ropati at Knees of Fury 52 on May 30 at the Thebarton Theatre in Torrensville, SA, under MMA rules in a ring. Robinson will move back to the light heavyweight division for this one after back-to-back heavyweight victories over Michael Fitzgerald and Andrew Machin.
Ropati, 25, suffered his first defeat when he was submitted by Korea’s Doo Hwan Kim in November. The loss followed the Kiwi’s impressive seven-fight win streak which included a majority points win over UFC fighter Sam Alvey.
