    Jake Matthews gets opponent for UFC Adelaide; Keita Nakamura vs. Salim Touahri also announced

    Jake Matthews has finally got himself a fight at UFC Adelaide.

    Matthews (14-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) will take on Tony Martin (14-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) at the event which takes place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on December 2nd. Alex Oates was the first to report the matchup.

    Jake Matthews has found a new gear since returning to welterweight late last year winning his last three straight.  The Celtic Kid picked up decision victories over Bojan Veličković and Li Jingliang before finishing Shinsho Anzai with a rear-naked choke in a thrilling first-round stoppage in Singapore this past June.

    Martin has won 5 of his last 6 fights including an impressive KO victory over Ryan LaFlare in his most recent outing at UFC 229.

    In other recent announcements, Japan’s Keita Nakamura (33-9-2 MMA, 3-5 UFC) will take on Polish fighter Salim Touahri (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in a welterweight clash.

    UFC Adelaide will be headlined by a heavyweight contest between the undefeated Tai Tuivasa and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos.
