Following their debut offering last September, which saw Ian Bone defeat Brad Traynor under full Muay Thai rules in the main event, Carnage in the Cage will return to the Mackay Basketball Stadium in Queensland on February 8 with show number 2.

The sole matchup to be revealed at this point in time, is a lightweight tilt between two prominent Aussie lightweights in Rob Hill (pictured) and Gokhan Turkyilmaz. The matchup will feature as the main attraction on the night, while also doubling as a WKBF Pro Oceania Lightweight Title fight, to be contested over 5, 5 minute rounds.

Former CFC lightweight title holder and Legend FC veteran Rob Hill (11-9-1) is currently riding a career first 4 fight losing streak with losses to Koji Ando, Koji Oishi, Damien Brown, and most recently to Sam Bastin at Brace 20. Among others, Hill, 28, holds notable wins over Ian Schaffa, Bernardo Magalhaes and Yusuke Kasuya, who he scored his last victory over in early 2012 at Legend FC 8.

Turkyilmaz (10-9) will enter the Carnage cage for the second time after unanimously outpointing Taela Kelly on the promotion’s first event. After dropping his following bout to Russian standout Murad Machaev in Bangkok, the 27 year-old scored a 26 second technical knockout of Canadian Kevin Manderson at Brace 23.
