Fight News Australia and AirAsia UFC Singapore Competition Terms & Conditions

1. This competition is being promoted by Fight News Australia with the prizes provided by AirAsia.
2. To be eligible for the competition, you will need to be at least 18 years old, residing in Australia and hold a current valid passport allowing you to travel outside of Australia between June 18th 2018 and December 31st 2018
3. To enter the competition, you will need to simply like the Facebook post and comment on the post telling us in under 25 words why you want to go to UFC Singapore and let the friend know in the post who you would take. You can also enter on our website by letting us know in under 25 words why you want to go to UFC Singapore. The best and most creative response, chosen by a panel of judges, will be the winner.
4. The judges’ decision is final and binding. As such, no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Entrants from outside of Australia will not be accepted
6. Entrants from a business, business page or a Facebook page will not be accepted.
7. The winning prize cannot be transferred to another person.
8. Entrance into the competition is not valid for employees and immediate family members of both Fight News Australia and AirAsia.
9. Entry to the competition will begin at 4:00pm AEST on 7th June 2018 and close on 9:00am AEST on 14th June 2018
10. The winner will be announced via the Fight News Australia Facebook page on 1:00pm AEST on 14th June 2018. We will attempt to contact via a private message on Facebook (should that be available).
11. Should the winner not claim their prize within 24 hours of the winner being announced, then the prize will be awarded to the second best and most creative comment
12. The full prize value is estimated at AUD$4395 and includes 2 x return flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast or Perth to Singapore with AirAsia, 2 x P2 tickets to UFC Fight Night 132 in Singapore taking place on Saturday, 23 June. Please note-accommodation is not included. Accommodation will have to be organised by the prize winner.
13. You will need to be available to travel to Singapore between 19th-23rd June 2018 and returning between 23rd – 30th June. Flights dates are subject to availability.
14. Prize Conditions
    • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other benefits in kind.
    • All bookings are subject to availability. Bookings can only be made on select days of the week but not on the eve of public holidays, public holidays and other embargo periods. Please do check with AirAsia for said periods. Winner will need to be available to travel to Singapore between 19th-23rd June 2018 and returning between 23rd – 30th June 2018 and subject to availability.
    • Changes to the flight destinations are not permitted.
    • Prize is subject to AirAsia Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
    • The prize does not include anything not listed above including but not limited to: travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, baggage, seat select, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the/each prize-winner and companion.
    • Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
    • There can be no changes (name of traveller, travel date, etc) made to travel arrangements once bookings are made.
    • AirAsia and the Promoter accept no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the winner or their guest in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
    • AirAsia retains the right to substitute the prize with another of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    • All bookings must be made directly to AirAsia via the contact person provided. Bookings cannot be made via a third party.
    • AirAsia reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions listed at any time without prior notice.
    • All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of the Prize, are the responsibility of the Winner. Such additional costs include, meals, beverages, room service, telephone calls, laundry services, spending money, transport to and from airport departure point, other transfers, travel, taxes including arrival and departure taxes (if applicable), insurance, travel insurance, passports and visas (if applicable).
15. All prize winners agree to the use of their name for publicity and competition purposes, without compensation.
16. All personal information collected through the competition will be solely used for the competition and kept on record for compliance purposes. It will be not disclosed to any third party unless requested by law to do so.
17. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, corruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
18. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions
19. If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
20. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event.
21. By entering the competition, entrants accept the above Terms & Conditions of Entry.
