Forty-two year-old UFC veteran Anthony Perosh made short work of 28 year-old Brazilian Guto Inocente at UFC Fight Night 55 today. The light heavyweight tilt featured on the preliminary portion of the card and was streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs Bisping took place on Nov. 8 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Following a feeling out period, Perosh looked to his strengths and took the fight to the ground, where he quickly moved to mount. Inocente rolled to his stomach and Perosh connected with a number of solid punches to the head of Inocente. ‘The Hippo’ then locked up a rear-naked choke and the Brazilian tapped within seconds sending the crowd into celebration mode.

Perosh bounces back from a loss to Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs Bigfoot in Brisbane last December with the win and moves his record to 15-8 in the process. Inocente is now 0-2 in the promotion following his loss to Derrick Lewis at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale in July.
