New Zealand fighter Faith Van Duin and Australian based Jessica “Jessy Jess” Rose-Clark have both made weight for their Invicta Fighting Championships 13 bouts.
Van Duin gets a shot at the Invicta FC featherweight bout against current champion, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino. Both women cleared the 145 pound limit with Van Duin coming in at 144.9 pounds (65.73 kgs), while Justino marginally less at 144.6 pounds (65.69 kgs).
Training out of Gold Coast, “Jessy Jess” will make her long-awaited Invicta FC debut and comes up against undefeated fighter Pannie Kianzad in a bantamweight bout. “Jessy Jess”, weighed in at 134.3 pounds (60.92 kgs), while Kianzad tipped the scales at 135.3 pounds (61.37 kgs).
The event takes place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas this Thursday night. The event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass staring at 1pm AEDT on Friday.
