A welterweight clash between ATT fighter Ali Cevik and Integrated MMA’s Damien Fraser headlines the ninth installment from Western Sydney based promotion Urban Fight Night this Saturday night. All up a massive 22 fights are scheduled for the “Fight of the Nations” event, which takes place at Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool.
An Eternal MMA and XFC Australia veteran, Fraser will hold the experience advantage going into the fight however the Brisbane native will be making his promotional debut on just six days notice. Cevik, meanwhile, will finally fight in 2016 following a string of bout cancellations this year.
The co-main event will feature a middleweight clash between Boxing Works Sydney’s Billy McAlees and local ATT product Mose Afoa.
Pacific X-treme Combat veteran, and former UFN amateur featherweight champion, Aydin Mrouki returns to the local circuit to take on Townsville’s Aden Hawke. A lightweight bout between Storm Damage champion Raymart Quintana and Tasmanian veteran Steven Maxwell is also announced and among other matchups slated for the show, featherweights Simon Arentz (Brotherhood MMA) and Paul Traish (Thrive MMA) are set to collide.
The promotion will also crown their women’s strawweight champion on the night as Redback MMA’s Leigha Aurisch takes on ATT product Nadia Kassem.
