    Event: UFC Fight Night – Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad

    Leon Edwards was scheduled to face Khamzat Chimaev in a highly anticipated welterweight match-up however lingering Covid-19 effects for Chimaev forced him off the card and the fight was scrapped for the third time in nearly as many months. With the withdrawal, Belal Muhammad stepped up to take on Edwards in the main event.

    It will be dangerous for Edwards to underestimate Muhammad with both fighters bringing an identical 18-3 record. Muhammad has won three on the trot and has a 9-3 UFC record while Edwards is aiming for a title opportunity, having won his last eight contests. He holds a record of 10-2 in the UFC.

    Who is the betting favourite in the main event?

    At the time of publishing, Leon Edwards is the heavy favourite, paying 1.34 to take out the contest while Belal Muhammad pays 3.10, according to sportsbet.com.au.

    The welterweight clash will be streamed on the UFC broadcast partner, ESPN as well as their own streaming platform, UFC Fight Pass.
