The UFC 266 main event is official with the featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and his challenger, Brian Ortega both weighing in under the 145-pound limit.
The Australian weighed in at 144.5 pounds (65.5kg) Friday morning while his American opponent was 144 pounds (65.3kg) at the official weigh-ins held at the UFC Apex Centre in Las Vegas.
In the semi-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will put her women’s flyweight title on the line when she faces Lauren Murphy. Shevchenko came in at 124 pounds (56.2kg) while Murphy was right on the dot at 125 pounds (56.7kg).
Both Nick Diaz (185.5lb / 86.1kg) and Robbie Lawler (184lb / 83.4kg) made weight for their middleweight clashed which was moved from welterweight to middleweight earlier this week.
Notably and impressively, both New Zealand’s Dan Hooker and his German opponent Nasrat Haqparast found their mark after both had visa issues and arrived in Las Vegas late this week. Hooker 155.5 pounds (70.5kg) and Haqparast 154.5 (70.1kg).
