Mohammad ‘Scarface’ Alavi puts his 5-0 undefeated record on the line and will take on Cody Barnwell for the newly vacated Superfight lightweight title. In his last outing, Alavi captured the XFC featherweight title with a TKO stoppage over Jackson Small back in August 2019.
Stepping across the cage from him will be Barnwell who, although is early in his pro career, has an impressive resume in the amateur ranks that includes making it through to the semi-finals of the 2017 IMMAF World Championship. Since making his pro debut in 2019, he has built a 3-1 professional record with his lone loss coming via split-decision in his last outing.
Barnwell will be looking at rebounding with what will be the highlight win of his career thus far.
