Over 12 months ago, Tasmanian fighter Shaun Etchell travelled to Tim Moore’s hometown where he shocked the pro-Moore crowd to take home the Eternal flyweight title. Moore will look to get his revenge this Saturday night as the two collide again in the main event of Eternal MMA 12.
The event takes at the Hellenic Centre in Bundall, Queensland and will be streamed live via GFL.tv.
Training out of the Launceston Boxing & MMA Club, Etchell brings an unblemished 4-0 record to the fight, however has been inactive since the big win over Moore in July 2014. Moore was a big step-up in competition for Etchell, who was able to rise to the occasion the first time they met.
Moore has rebounded since the loss, competing twice with decision wins going his way against Ryan Lambert and Commonwealth games wrestler Shane Parker.
Also on the card in a middleweight bout, Integrated MMA Sunshine Coast trained Jacob Holyman Tague will meet Gracie Shark Grafton fighter Corbin Robertson, while in a pair of featherweight bouts, Pat Lemai faces local fighter Aaron Fisher and Corey Cottle clashes against Brad Gawthorne.
