UFC flyweight Shannon Ross has suffered a TKO loss to Hyun Sung Park in the second round of their fight at UFC Vegas 83.
This is Ross’ third straight KO/TKO loss in the UFC since joining the promotion earlier this year.
Ross started the fight by pushing the pace, using quick striking and leg kicks. Park traded strikes with the Aussie, dropping him towards the later stages of the first round and taking his back where he attacked a rear naked choke as the round finished. Ross looked to start the round with the same fire as the first, but was wobbled in an early exchange, before being dropped with a body shot, where he was finished against the cage.
Ross’ record now reads 13-9. With no wins in the UFC, it is assumed that this may be his last fight in the promotion.
