The worst kept secret in MMA is out. Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya will unify the middleweight title on October 6 (AEDT).
The venue, however, remains a mystery.
The organisation held their annual summer press conference this morning and UFC President Dana White declined to provide an update on where the fight will take place.

While no venue is official, Melbourneโs Marvel Stadium is odds on favorite to host the event after negotiations with Sydneyโs Bankwest Stadium failed to materialise.
Speaking with The Saturday Telegraph in Las Vegas, White said the fight will be the biggest in Australian history.
โThis will be the biggest fight your country has ever seen,โ White said.
โAnd itโs not only because youโve got a champion from Australia, and a challenger from New Zealand โฆ theyโre both legitimate badasses.
โYouโve got two guys who could both be a champion that sticks around for years. So itโs the perfect guys, in the perfect place at the perfect time.โ
