Robert Lisita fails medical clearance; out of One Championship bout

Australian featherweight Robert Lisita is out of his One Championship 27 fight, which was scheduled to take place tonight at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

The promotion confirmed the cancellation following the weigh-in via a press release, stating that Lisita had failed to pass his medical clearance, with no further indication on what occurred. Lisita was due to face top Russian prospect Timofey Nastyukhin.

The event is headlined by Japanese fighter Shinya Aoki who will be looking at defendng his One lightweight title against fellow countryman Koji Ando. Also on the card, Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke faces Roy Doliguez for the vacant One strawweight title while New Zealand fighter Ev Ting faces the undefeated Marat Gafurov.
