Victoria BJJ Purple Belt Regan Neoh (pictured) upset current Fury MMA Featherweight champion Pat Promrangka to capture the title in the main event of Fury MMA 6 on Saturday at the Sunshine Coast Function Centre in Queensland.

After making his debut back in December on the AFC 4 card, Neoh only took the fight on 4 weeks notice after the previous challenger Suasday Chau was forced out due to an injury. Neoh was able to catch Promrangka with an armbar submission at 3:49 of the second round.

In the semi-main event, local fighter Callum Lewis bounced back from recent losses to make quick work of fellow Fury MMA regular Mike Aarts from South Australia. The fight hit the ground early where Lewis was able to pound away to get the TKO stoppage at 1:36 of the opening round.

Also on the card, youngster Darcy Vendy from the Shindo New Breed gym defeated Ty Duncan from Advance Martial Arts in Coolum via unanimous decision. The fight was contested at a catch-weight after Vendy failed to make the previously agreed weight.
