Only a few days after announcing their next event, Roshambo MMA has had to postpone their second event which was set to feature a middleweight title fight between Ian Bone and Rob Giuffrida. The event was originally scheduled to take place on June 1 at the Chandler Theatre in Brisbane with a new date expected to be announced shortly
“(We) will confirm new date early next week,” the promotion told Fight News Australia.
When asked if the promotion was still targeting for Townsville based Ian Bone to take on Integrated MMA fighter Rob Giuffrida in the main event, the promotion simply answers, “Yes”.
After a disappointing attendance at their first event, the promotion is looking at coming back with a vengeance for their second event and with Brace already scheduled to be held in Brisbane the weekend before, some extra time to market the event might not be a bad idea with the original date only six weeks away.
