Gokhan Turkyilmaz defeated South Korean Seok Mo Kim on Sunday night in the co-main event at Pacific Rim Organised Fighting – PRO FC 8 event, which was held at the Luxy Contemporary Nightlife Complex in Taipei, Taiwan. Also picking up victories at the show were New Zealand fighters, and Tiger Muay Thai team mates, Matt Te Paa and Kai Kara-France.

Turkyilmaz was awarded a unanimous points decision after a three round war with the Pro FC veteran. With the win, “The Pitbull” bounces back after losing his last outing to Brazilian Christofer Silva in Dubai back in May. Continuing with his oversees endeavors, the 27 year-old will be fighting next in Bangkok on October 12 at the return show from the DARE promotion, entitled “Rebels of MMA”. Turkyilmaz’s opponent for the show is yet to be announced.

Kiwi veteran Matt Te Paa continued his successful return to competition on Sunday with a win over Dae Sung Park of South Korea. After landing three illegal knees to the head of Te Paa throughout the contest, Park was eventually disqualified in the final round. Te Paa has now won three in a row following his return to the sport earlier in the year after a lengthy absence.

Twenty year-old Kai Kara-France made a dominant return to form in Taipei with an early stoppage of Ho Jun Kim. Kara-France snatched the win at 3:44 of the opening period with a head kick knockout. With the win, the young kiwi gets back on track after losing a unanimous points decision to Danaa Batgerel at Legend FC 11.
