Australian based fighter Mark Hunt, Richard Walsh and New Zealand based Daniel Hooker all successfully made weight for their bouts scheduled on UFC Fight Night 52.

The event takes place on Saturday night at the legendary Saitama Super Arena and will be headlined by Mark Hunt taking on former TUF winner Roy Nelson.

Hunt put to an end the unconfirmed reports that the fight was in jeopardy due to being overweight by successfully making the heavyweight limit. Hunt came in at 264 pounds (119.7 kgs) while Nelson tipped the scales at 260 pounds (117.9 kgs).

“I’m ready to fight, man. I’m ready to swing. That’s what’s happening. Someone’s going out and it ain’t going to be me,” Hunt said after weighing in.

Also on the main card, Sydney based Richard Walsh will look to take his UFC record to 2-0 when he meets Japanese welterweight Kiichi Kunimoto. Both fighters came in at the limit of 171 pounds (77.5 kgs).

After a successful UFC debut in his home country back in June, 24-year-old Daniel Hooker will also be hoping to keep his impressive form going when he takes on Maximo Blanco. Hooker came in at 145 pounds (65.7 kgs), while Blanco came in slightly heavier at 146 pounds (66.2 kgs) for their featherweight clash.

Main Card (Fuel TV at 5pm AEST):
