The Eventfinda Stadium in Auckland will host eight of New Zealand’s top welterweight fighters who will go head-to-head on Saturday and battle for the NZ$10,000 grand prize under K-1 rules at King in the Ring.
The 2019 King in the Ring champ, Arshia Ebadi, is not defending his title, leaving it vacant for the eight contenders.
The eight kickboxers named to compete in the tournament are Jon Anderson, Kayne Conlan, Doug Higgins, Rob Horrocks, Tony Jaggard, Yury Mamic, Adam Manisy, and Connar Wilson.
Also on the card, in a light-heavyweight WKBF world title bout, Mike ‘Blood Diamond’ meets Brazilian Diego Beneduzzi.
