Isaac Tisdell vs Callan Potter headlines Eternal 20

Current promotion champion Isaac Tisdell will look to defend his lightweight championship belt when he meets Victoria’s Callan Potter this Saturday night.

Eternal 20 takes place at the Southport Sharks AFL club on the Gold Coast this Saturday night.

After spending the 2015 calendar year on the sidelines, Tisdell (8-2) returned to action earlier this year where he defeated Greg Atzori via knockout. In recent years, he has proven himself as one of the most dangerous lightweights in the country with four straight first-round finishes, including both a 8-second and a 9-second knockout amongst them.

“The Planet Smasher” faces another tough test in promotional newcomer Potter, who will ride a four-fight win into the contest. Most recently, the Valor welterweight champion submitted tough Kiwi Matiu Thoms at Hex Fight Series 6.

In the co-main event, Garrett Gross (5-2-1) will look to defending his featherweight title for the first time when he meets Myles Simpson (8-2).

Gross captured the title back in May with a submission win over Brett Jacobsen at Eternal 17. Simpson is a former WMC state Muay Thai title holder and has made a successful transition to professional MMA, however the South Australian athlete does come into the contest on the back of a loss to Raphael Berthet back in June.
