Things got heated between middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and flyweight contender Manel Kape at last nights UFC 293 press conference.
Kape, who was originally slated to fight Adesanya’s teammate Kai Kara-France, went on a rant about Kara-France, who was sitting in the crowd. During the rant, Kape threw a water bottle into the crowd in an attempt to hit Kara-France.
After the bottle was thrown, Adesanya rose to his feet and face off with Kape, telling him to ‘show some f**king respect.’
‘Look at this little midget trying to f**k with me, I will f**king bury you’ Adesanya said to the crowd as the altercation died down.
Adesanya’s opponent, controversial American Sean Strickland chimed in during the scuffle.
‘Leave the little man alone. I’m supposed to be the a**hole here Izzy that’s not your job.’ he said.
Caught in between the two, Australian heavyweight Tai Tuivasa attempted to calm the chaos, joking that Kape ‘hangs out with Lebos for two days and starts fighting everyone.’
