The next Fightworld Cup event is now under a month away and the promotion has confirmed three title fights for their event scheduled to be held at Nerang Policy Citizen Youth Club on Queensland’s Gold Coast on November 16.

Current Fightworld Cup bantamweight title holder Chris “Kewl Bonez” Morris (pictured) will be looking at becoming a two division champion as he drops down a division to take on PUMMA fighter Tim Moore for the vacant Fightworld Cup flyweight title.

In his last outing back in August, Morris captured the bantamweight title with a unanimous decision over Jacob Mahony in what was Morris’ second crack at the title after previously being defeated by Reece McLaren. Back in July, Morris was defeated by Moore’s team mate Julian “The Jackal” Rabaud at Nitro MMA 9.

Moore is coming off a recent fight against Grego Penaloza just last month where he walked away with the unanimous decision victory. Moore has notable wins over Adam Corbett, Matthew George and One FC fighter Thanh Vu.

In a battle for the women’s Fightworld Cup bantamweight title currently vacated, Integrated MMA fighter Jessy “Jess” Rose-Clark will make her promotional debut when she faces Shindo New Breed gym fighter Kyra Purcell.

Jessy is coming off an impressive second-round submission against world champion boxer Arlene Blencowe and will be looking at keeping her record undefeated when she faces Purcell.

Purcell notably also has a second round submission over Blencowe with her only loss coming in her debut where she lost a majority decision to highly regarded Fiona Muxlow.

Semir Celikovic has vacated the Fightworld Cup middleweight title and it will be his team-mate in Luke Wright who will be challenging for vacant title when he faces Coffs Harbour based fighter & trainer Chris Hellback.

Wright recent headlined the inaugural Unarmed Combat Unleashed show which was held in Emerald back in August. The Shindo New Breed fighter submitted his opponent with a first-round triangle choke.

Hellback on the other hand, has 10 years experience in martial arts, however the only recorded fight on sherdog is a 2011 TKO win over Alphonse Wale from Solomon Islands. The bio page of his gym’s profile also lists that the BJJ Brown Belt fought previously in Sydney.

Also announced for the card in a non-title fight is a women’s fight between Belinda Sedgwick and Kenani Mangakahia. Sedgwick will be looking at picking up her first career win after losing all three of her fights via submission thus far. Managakahia won her debut fight impressively back in April, but in her last outing lost via a third round TKO to Rhiannon Thompson in an action packed fight that had the crowd on hits feet.

More fights are expected to be announced shortly by the promotion.

    Fight Card announced so far:

    • Chris Hellback vs Luke Wright – Fightworld Cup Middleweight Title
    • Jessy Rose-Clark vs Kyra Purcell – WMMA Fightworld Cup Bantamweight Title
    • Chris Morris vs Tim Moore – Fightworld Cup Flyweight Title
    • Kenani Mangakahia vs Belinda Sedgwick
