Fighting out of Auckland MMA, Ting (15-4) once again solidified his position as a top contender in the promotion’s lightweight division with the victory. The 28 year-old has now won two on the trot following his unanimous decision loss to champion Eduard Folayang almost 12 months ago.
In the main event, middleweight champion “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang added yet another accolade to his repertoire, snatching the vacant light heavyweight title with a quick-fire 56 second knockout victory over Brazil’s Alexandre Machado.
