Heavyweight boxing prospect Justis Huni returns to action this Saturday when he meets Jack Moris in the main event of Gold Coast Fight Night.
The event, being promoted by Tasman Fighters will feature some of Australia’s top boxing talents.
As a leading contender for an Olympic medal later this year, Huni did, what not many people have been able to achieve, capturing the Australian boxing title, on their debut with a hard-fought TKO victory over Faiga Opelu last October. He backed up a couple of months later and stopped Arsene Fosso and will be looking to go 3-0 when he returns to action on Saturday.
Jack Maris (2-0) is expected to have a tough night in the ring with Crossbet paying 13.00 for him to get his hand raised, compared to Huni who is at the shortest odds of 1.01.
In some highly anticipated title fights also on the card, super-welterweights Ben Mahoney (10-0) and Kris George (14-2) will meet, Conor Wallace (7-0) clashes with Leti Leti (15-1) in a light-heavyweight bout and Ben Kite (18-4-1) comes up against Andrew Hunt (7-0-1) in a welterweight clash.
