Benny Alloway meets Sergey Khandozhko in Russia this weekend

Benny Alloway returns to competition this Saturday night in Russia (early Sunday morning in Australia). The top tier local welterweight takes on Russia’s Sergey Khandozhko at Absolute Championship Berkut 48, which takes place at the Sports Palace Dynamo in Moscow.

The promotion will stream the event live on YouTube, you can find it right here at Fight News Australia.

A UFC and Cage Warriors veteran, Alloway (18-7) made his ACB debut this year in July, however suffered a TKO loss to undefeated Russian prospect Sharaf Davlatmurodov. The 35 year-old Aussie returned home and bounced back against Matt Vaile at Carnage in the Cage 7, taking home the North Queensland based promotion’s welterweight title in the process.

Khandozhko (22-3-1) has seen mixed results under the ACB banner with three wins and two losses. Most recently, however, the twenty four year-old made a big statement against Mauricio Machado (17-10), needing just five seconds to dispatch the Brazilian with a head kick.
