After what has already been a jam-packed weekend for Australian MMA fighters competing internationally, Ben Alloway rounds it off with the PUMMA based fighter scheduled to meet undefeated Ryan LaFlare on the under-card of the UFC on Fuel TV 9 card.
The fight takes place from the Ericsson Glove Arena in Stockholm, Sweden with Alloway’s fight being shown in the early morning of Sunday on UFC’s facebook page.
Alloway is coming off a devastating knockout over fellow Australian Manuel Rodriguez in front of his home-crowd on the Gold Coast back at UFC on FX 6 while LaFlare fights for the first time outside New Jersey in what will be his UFC debut.

Ben Alloway (12-3) vs Ryan LaFlare (7-0)
Round 1:
Alloway throws a hook early which is ducked under by LaFlare who immediately looks for the take-down which he was able to secure with a body lock. LaFlare controlls the action on the ground before Alloway works back to his feet. LaFlare staying straight on him as the two clinch against the cage. LaFlare lands with knees and gets another takedown. On the ground he gets one hook in attempting to take the back while unloading with punches. Alloway stands up and the two separate. Alloway comes forward but again LaFlare ducks under to get the take-down. LaFlare postures up trying to land some shots in the open guard as he passes to side-control. Alloway stands back up and his met by a knee. Alloway lands a nice body shot to finish the round. 10-9 LaFlare
Round 2:
Nice leg kick by Alloway, but as the Aussie came forward LaFlare again changed levels to get the take-down. Inside guard Alloway looking to punch from the bottom. LaFlare postures and stands up before missing with a punch as he came back down. LaFlare moves to side-control and lands some short elbows. LaFlare looking for a choke which allowed Alloway to get back to his feet. The Aussie comes in aggressively and nearly secured a guillotine choke. A leg kick drops Alloway momentarily as LaFlare comes in to finish. Alloway switches it up and gets a take-down of his own and lands a big elbow. Alloway ends the round looking to take the back. A better round of Alloway however still give it 10-9 LaFlare
Round 3:
LaFlare gets around to the back of Alloway early where he was able to get an important early take-down. LaFlare attempting to pass as Alloway motioning to referee that not much happening and wanting the fight to be stood up. Alloway regains guard with LaFlare unloading with a big punch. Alloway works his way back to his feet but loses his footing while attempting to take the back. Big right from Alloway stuffs a take-down attempt by LaFlare. Shortly after though, LaFlare puts Alloway on his back. Alloway looks for the triangle but unable to lock it up. Fighters stand and Alloway comes forward with shots. Returned with knees from LaFlare. 10-9 LaFlare
