Bec Hyatt made weight today ahead of her Strawweight clash with Japanese prospect Mizuki Inoue at Invicta Fighting Championship 6 tomorrow morning (AU time) in Kansas, USA. Hyatt’s weight was recorded as 115.5 lbs (52.5 kg) while Inoue weighed in at 113.3 lbs (51.5 kg).

Hyatt will be looking to claim back to back victories in the promotion after submitting Jasminka Chive in her last appearance back in early April. Not only making her promotional debut tomorrow, Inoue will also be making her debut North American appearance, as she looks to continue on from an impressive stint in the Jewels promotion.

The Featherweight title fight main event was made official today as Marloes Coenen and Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino both successfully made weight. Coenen came in at 145 lbs (65.9 kg) while Cyborg at 144.9 lbs (65.8 kg).

Jessica Penne has two hours to make weight for her Atomweight tussle with Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc. Tamikka Brents also has two hours to make weight, and the Featherweight contest between Mollie Estes and Veronica Rothenhausler has been scrapped after Rothenhausler was declared medically unable to compete.

Invicta Fighting Championship 6 will take place at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, on July 13th (local time). The main card will be broadcast via Pay-Per-View in North America, and at www.ustream.tv/InvictaFC everywhere else. The preliminary portion of the card will be broadcast for free at www.invictafc.com from 9 am, Sunday 14th in Australia.
