New Zealand fighter Kieran Joblin continued his impressive run with a first-round submission over Gokhan Turkyilmaz. The two met in the main event of Carnage In The Cage 2 and were contesting the WKPB LIghtweight Oceania Title

The event was held at the Mackay Basketball Stadium in Queensland, Australia.

From the Strikeforce Canterbury gym, Joblin (pictured) was able to secure the triangle submission, 1:03 into the fight. It was his third straight submission win which includes a submission over veteran fighter Ian Schaffa.

Turkyilmaz will look to rebound at Nitro 11 where he will face Alex MacDonald.

Also on the card, youngster Taela Kelly was made to work as he edged Abel Brites by a split-points decision with two judges giving him the fight 29-28, 30-27 and the other to Brites 28-29.
