Valor returns this Saturday night with Valor Am series 8, the next installment in the promotion’s amateur series.
Taking place at the Devonport Recreation Centre in Devonport, Tasmania, the event will be headlined by the sole professional fight on the card which sees local Tassie fighter Damon Upton-Greer rematch Melbourne’s Hoshi Friedrich.
The two men first met back in November, 2014 where Friedrich walked away with a second round TKO. Upton-Greer, the most capped fighter in the promotion, took that fight on short notice and will now get the opportunity to even the ledger.
The previous Valor Am series 8 main event between Adam Cook and Kahn Sandy was canceled due to injury.
