Hex Fight Series returns for show number 14 at the Melbourne Pavilion this Saturday night, with a live nationwide telecast on Fox Sports Australia accompanying the card.
In the main event, former Hex welterweight champion Kitt Campbell from Victoria is set to take on Superfight MMA and Minotaur MMA champion Saeid Fatahifar from Sydney.
Pro Fitness MMA product Campbell (8-3) is the former Hex welterweight champion and was on a four-fight winning run before he came up short in his title defense against Matt Vaile earlier this year. The 24-year-old originally came into the sport with a judo base, but with time has evolved a solid muay thai arsenal which he will be looking to utilise to stake his claim for another title shot.
Saeid Fatahifar (6-3) is originally from Iran but now fights out of PMA Super Martial Arts in Sydney. Fatahifar also brings a judo background and comes into the anticipated clash on a three-fight win streak.

On the main card, former K-1 and Glory fighter Ben Edwards makes his promotional debut against New Zealand MMA veteran, and powerful striker, Felise Leniu in a heavyweight clash. Edwards is coming into the bout undefeated in MMA with a 2-0 record, while his experienced opponent Leniu is coming off a first round TKO loss in April at Nitro 15, after a long hiatus away from MMA competition.
The fight card will also host a match up between popular local lightweight Aidan Aguilera fighting out of Adrenaline MMA and Australian Top Team’s Josh Togo in what many are expecting to be an explosive stand-up war. Both fighters are coming off losses in their most recent outings and will be eager to rebound on the night.
Additionally of note, an interstate flyweight battle between New South Welshman Mitchell Birkett and hometown fighter Jordan O’Connor is set to take place, while local Melbourne based fighters Hoshi Friedrich and Saeed Karsaz will battle it out in the welterweight division. Undefeated up and comers Sy Leafa and Mohammad Alavi will also go head to head in a featherweight contest.
