An intriguing middleweight bout between Josh Della and Brandon Ropati headlines Eternal 28 tonight at the WA Italian Club in Perth.
It’s arguably the biggest opponent Della has faced since making his professional debut against Priscus Fogagnolo. Self proclaimed as the “King of Perth”, Della will have the crowd behind him and will be looking to make it four wins on the trot with a win over Ropati.
Training out of the Australian Top Team, Ropati brings an impressive 8-3 record however will be looking at regaining his early form, having won just once in his last four outings. Ropati’s most impressive win has come against UFC fighter Sam Alvey back in 2012.
The co-main event squares Mark Familari from MMA 24/7 against Anthony Drilich.
The event will be streamed live via online PPV via Cleeng, with the promotion confirming that they are no longer in partnership with WSOF Global.
It will be the first time that Eternal will be able to hold the bouts inside a cage after the government overturned the cage ban earlier in the year. The promotion was the only promotion to continue running events in the state, albeit in the ring while the cage was banned.
