BOXING – Thunderdome 33 kicks off tonight, at Perth’s Metro City nightclub, with three titles on the line.

Thunderdome 33 kicks off tonight, at Perth’s Metro City nightclub, with three titles on the line.

In the main event, ‘Action’ Jackson England and Jason ‘Make You Pay’ Tinampay will come head to head for the vacant WBC Asia Super Featherweight title. England comes into this fight with a solid record of 10-1, against an experienced Tinampay, having twenty-five professional fights to his name. England’s movement inside the ring is so fluent, his speed and power combined makes it extremely dangerous for any opponent, keep your eye on him tonight.

The co-main event features undefeated Aussie talent Jesse White looks to get his hands on the WA Junior Middleweight title and take his record to 7-0. In order to do so, he has to get through the tough challenge of Fano Kori. White always having a huge support of white t-shirts in the crowd in his previous fights, with this fight being his biggest to date, you can expect a sea of white watching ringside.

The third title up for grabs on the night will be the WBC Australasia Welterweight belt. Steve Gago has an impressive professional record of 11-1 and has Indonesian Geisler Ap eager to return home crowned as champion.

Wes Capper has an experienced fighter on his hands in this Middleweight clash. ‘The Black Horse’ Alexander Bajawa is stepping into the ring as a pro for the fifty-ninth time. With forty-three of those being wins, he looks to continue his strong record. Capper was once on a nine-fight win streak, with seven of those being knockouts. He’s proven he’s got knockout power behind him and will look to showcase more of it tonight.

Undefeated Floyd Masson is aiming to get his eighth straight professional win, with New Zealand’s Lance ‘Buster’ Bryant standing before him. Both men have knockout power to their name and this bout has action-packed written all over it.

There’s also plenty of Perth local fighters competing, aiming to have their hand raised on home soil. Dylan Winter looks to keep a perfect record and go 3-0 as he takes on Vasilige Radovic, who takes on his second professional bout.

The event is packed with experience, current and former champions along with some fighters making their professional debuts.

The main card is one to look forward to, and it comes after some exciting exhibitions to get the night underway. If you’re in Perth and want to watch some live action inside the ring, head to Metro City, in Perth’s Northbridge. You won’t be disappointed.
