Stephanie Egger secured her second straight victory in the Octagon with an impressive first-round armbar submission over Australia’s Jessica-Rose Clark today.
The two ended up in clinch very early and that is a position that paid dividends for Egger who was able to put Clark on the canvas.
The Swiss Judoka unloaded with punches and with Clark scrambling, Egger capitalised by locking up the armbar to get the tap.

Egger lost her UFC debut back in October 2020 but now has won two on the trot to get her career back on track. For Clark, she drops her record to 11-7.
“I was thinking she will do more striking but then she was looking for the clinch and I like to throw people,” Egger said in her post-fight speech.
“I hope I can fight as soon as possible, I’m ready for it, so give me the next opponent,” she added.
The bout took place on the preliminary portion of UFC Fight Night which was headlined by Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker which was taken out by Hill inside the first-round by a devastating knock-out.
