    George Sotiropoulos and Hector Lombard successfully made weight for their UFC 166 fights which are scheduled to occur at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Saturday night (Sunday morning Australian time).

    Hector Lombard looked trim at 169 pounds (76.6 kgs) in what will be his welterweight debut when he takes on former King of Pancrase and title contender Nate Marquardt on the undercard. Marquardt weighed in at 171 pounds (77.5 kgs).

    After losing his three bouts, Sotiropoulos will be fighting for his spot on the UFC roster when he faces off against 30 year-old K.J Noons who also has has lost his last three fights, one in the UFC and two previously in Strikeforce. Sotiropoulos came in at 155 pounds (70.3 kgs), while Noons was slightly heavier at 156 lbs (70.7 kgs). 

    Both George Sotiropoulos and Hector Lombard will fight on the preliminary portion of the card scheduled to be shown in Australia on Fuel TV starting at 11am AEDT on Sunday.

    The event will be headlined by the heavyweight clash between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos who meet for the third time after splitting their last two contests. There was not much separating these heavyweights as champion Velasquez weighed in at 241 lbs (109.3 kgs). Dos Santos weighed in at 240 lbs (108.8 kgs). The main card will be shown live on Mainevent PPV from 1pm AEDT.
