Live MMA action returns to the Adelaide Oval for Diamondback FC 2 this Friday night. The pro-am card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between local favorite Shane Mitchell and Sydney based Brandon Ropati.

Fighting out of Cardio-Flex, Mitchell (8-3) is currently on a two fight win streak and most recently is coming off a 30 second TKO stoppage of Matt Eland at Diamondback FC 1.
The highly touted Ropati (8-1) of Australian Top Team has been relatively inactive in recent times, but has an impressive record with notable wins over top competition, including a majority decision win against current UFC middleweight Sam Alvey in 2012.
In the co-headliner fight, fellow South Australian based fighters Matt Dockrill and Jasper Dunphy go head to head in a battle of up and coming local middleweight fighters. Dunphy (1-2) is fighting out of Ringworks/M16 fight gym and is a wrestling specialist, while his opponent Dockrill (1-0) from Iso Health, has a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu base.
