Kiwi heavyweight Adnan Larry is the next product of Melbourne’s Absolute MMA to test his wares with ONE Championship.
The 31-year-old is set to take on Cameroonian knockout artist Maxwell Djantou Nana in the hopes of securing a contract with the promotion at ONE Friday Fights 52 on February 16. The heavyweight slugfest will go down at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Larry brings a two-fight win streak to the battle, having taken his professional MMA record to 2-1 with a pair of knockouts on the local circuit in Victoria.
To continue on his winning ways and begin on the road to snatching up a US$100,000 contract with ONE, however, he’ll have to end the hot streak of Djantou Nana.
The England-based fighter is yet to see the second round in his professional MMA tenure so far. He brings a 4-1 record, with four wins on the bounce after dropping a submission on debut.
It’s unlikely the judges will be required for this one, as two aggressive heavyweights lock horns with it all to fight for.
