Formerly from the Gold Coast, Frincu (11-3) recently suffered his first defeat in the promotion, falling to former Bellator fighter Curtis Millender back in October. Frincu, who trains out of the Arizona Combat Sports gym, was caught with a devastating headkick just 38 seconds into the contest (video). Prior to the setback, the Aussie welterweight racked up four consecutive victories including an impressive first round KO against Brazilian Maycon Mendonça (video).

Alcantar (6-0) will go into his LFA debut unbeaten after six professional appearances. “La Bestia” has fought predominantly for Mexico based promotion World Best Gladiators. He made his US debut in September, 2017 where outpointed Eddie Larrea (22-44) at KOTC: Never Surrender.

LFA 31 takes place at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 19 (January 20 in Australia). The event will be headlined by an interim featherweight title fight between Bobby Moffett and Thanh Le.
