Perth Muay Thai star Jordan Godtfredsen will test his mettle under the bright lights of ONE Championship for the second time on May 24.
“Wolf” is set to face Iranian rising star Parham Gheirati in a bantamweight Muay Thai contest at ONE Friday Fights 24, at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Godtfredsen made his first appearance on ONE’s Friday Fights proving ground in July 2023, when he took on vastly experienced Thai star Yodlekpet Or Atchariya.
Despite a spirited showing at ONE Friday Fights 25, the Kao Sok Muay Thai representative came up short in a razor-thin split decision defeat.
The 31-year-old was last in action at Rebellion Muay Thai this past November, when he was knocked out by Chadd Collins in a WBC Muay Thai super lightweight world title fight.
Gheirati has gotten off to a near-perfect start to his ONE tenure so far.
The 20-year-old prospect 3-0 so far against three Thai opponents, with two knockouts along the way.
An ultra-aggressive power puncher, Gheirati could be close to a call up to the ONE roster full-time unless Godtfredsen can spoil the party.
