Newly-crowned Eternal lightweight champion Isaac Tisdell will make his first title defense in October when he takes on Callan “The Rockstar” Potter at Eternal 20.
The event, which will be the sixth offering from the promotion in 2016, takes place at the Southport Sharks Club on the Gold Coast on October 15.
Undefeated in the past four years, Tisdell, who recently spent time training out of the Tiger Muay Thai gym in Phuket, snatched the lightweight title from perennial lightweight standout Greg Atzori in April, stopping “The Tarantula” with a first round knockout.
“The Planet Smasher” faces another tough test in promotional newcomer Potter, who will ride a four-fight win into the contest. Most recently, the Valor welterweight champion submitted tough Kiwi Matiu Thoms at Hex Fight Series 6.
Also announced at this stage for the show is a featherweight title fight between current champion Garrett Gross and Myles Simpson.
