After 14 months away from competition, welterweight Hector Lombard will make his return against American Neil Magny in the UFC Fight Night Brisbane co-main event.

Taking place on March 20 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, UFC Fight Night 84 will be headlined by a previously announced heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt and Frank Mir. Three additional bouts were also revealed today by promotional officials with James Te Huna (18-8 MMA, 5-4 UFC) taking on Steve Bosse (10-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Brendan O’Reilly (6-1-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) squaring off with Alan Jouban (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Daniel Kelly (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) facing Antonio Carlos Junior (6-1-1 MMA, 2-1-1nc UFC).

The event will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 in the United States, Fox Sports 3 in Australia and SKY TV in New Zealand. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, February 4 at 10 a.m. AEST and are priced at $350, $250, $150, $95 and $50 AUD through ticketek.com.au.

We last saw Lombard (34-4-1 MMA, 3-2-1nc UFC) in action at UFC 182 where the adopted Aussie won a unanimous decision against Josh Burkman. The verdict was later ruled a no-contest, however, after Lombard tested positive for anabolic steroids. He was also handed a 12 month suspension, which ended on January 3. The 37 year-old had won two straight leading up to the fight, a decision win over Jake Shields and a KO victory against Nate Marquardt.

Twenty-eight year-old Neil Magny (17-4-0 MMA, 10-3 UFC) has won nine of his past 10 appearances inside the octagon and is coming off a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 78 in November. The Grudge Training Center product’s loan loss in the period came via submission at the hands of Demian Maia in August.

UFC Fight Night 84 will be the second event from the promotion to take place in Brisbane after UFC Fight Night 33 back in December 2013, where Mark Hunt and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva met in a fight that ended in an epic draw.

Here’s how the lineup looks at this early stage.

    • Mark Hunt vs Frank Mir
    • Hector Lombard vs Neil Magny
    • James Te Huna vs Steve Bosse
    • Brendan O’Reilly vs Alan Jouban
    • Daniel Kelly vs Antonio Carlos Junior
