New Zealand’s Faith Van Duin and Gold Coast based Jessy Rose-Clark have both been announced to fight on the upcoming Invita FC 13 card on July 9.

After months of campaigning for a shot at the number one women’s featherweight in the world, and Invicta FC title holder, Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino (13-1-1), Van Duin (5-1) will get her wish when she meets the Brazilian in the main event. Fighting in the bantamweight division, Rose-Clark (5-1), commonly known as ‘Jessy Jess’, will face off with the undefeated Pannie Kianzad (7-0) from Sweden.

Invicta FC 13 will take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. In addition to the featherweight championship, the bantamweight and atomweight titles will also be up for grabs on the night.

Van Duin made an impressive promotional debut when she submitted American Amanda Bell at Invicta FC 12 in April. The 28 Year-old Kiwi also picked up a Performance bonus for her efforts. Justino will be looking to continue her dominance over the promotion’s featherweight division, in which she is undefeated after three outings. Most recently, the 29 year-old stopped Charmaine Tweet in just 46 seconds with punches at Invicta FC 11.

It’s been almost seven months since it was revealed that Rose-Clark had signed with the leading all-women’s promotion. The multiple Australian champion will bring a three-fight win streak into her long-awaited Invicta FC debut, with wins against Zoie Shreiweis, Kate Da Silva, and most recently, Rhiannon Thompson for the Roshambo women’s bantamweight title back in July, 2014. Also making her Invicta FC debut on the night, Sweden’s Pannie Kianzad is undefeated after seven professional fights, and is also coming off a five-round unanimous decision victory, outpointing Eeva Siiskonen at Cage Warriors 74 in November.

    Fight Card:

    • Cristiane Justino vs Faith Van Duin – Featherweight Title
    • Tonya Evinger vs Irene Aldana – Bantamweight Title
    • Herica Tiburcio vs Ayaka Hamasaki – Atomweight Title
    • Pannie Kianzad vs Jessica-Rose Clark
    • Amber Brown vs Catherine Costigan
    • Amy Montenegro vs Jamie Moyle
    • Marina Shafir vs Amber Leibrock
