Eternal MMA has confirmed that they will again look to capitalise on the UFC returning to Australian shores by announcing that Eternal 73 will be held on February 11, which is the night before UFC 284.
While no venue has been confirmed as yet, it is expected to be at Eternal’s home in Perth, the HBF Stadium.
The Australian promotion has close ties to the UFC with their events broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
Former Eternal champions such as Casey O’Neill, and Jack Della Maddalena have progressed to the UFC successfully with both Shannon Ross and Jack Jenkins recently also earning their contracts.
It’s not the first time they have announced events the weekend of UFC having hosted cards prior to UFC 243 in Melbourne as well as UFC Fight Night: Felder vs Hooker in Auckland, New Zealand.
