Carlos Ulberg showcased a dominant display at UFC 293, picking up a submission victory in the third round.
Ulberg landed heavy strikes throughout the fight, dropping Jung in the first and looking for the finish. Ulberg kept his distance in the fight, picking apart Jung at his will. Although Jung was able to rally for a moment in the third, Ulberg was to take the South Korean down, where he landed heavy ground and pound as well as finishing the round with the rear naked choke. Although the third round ended, after revision, the bout was declared a submission victory.
After the fight, Ulberg called for former title contender Dominic Reyes.
‘Dominic Reyes with all due respect mate, whenever you feel like you’ve done your thing, lets make it happen’ he said in the cage.
