Blood Diamond has suffered a decision loss to Charles Radtke at UFC 293, all three judges scoring the bout 29-27.
Diamond remained composed and active on the feet during the first round however Radtke utilised his cage wrestling, pushing Diamond against the cage, where he looked to grind him out. Radtke was able to show his own striking ability in the second, rocking Diamond and forcing him against the cage, where he continued his grappling-based attack. Diamond found his range in the third, however Radtke was able to reverse position and again force Diamond against the cage. Diamond was also deducted a point for multiple inadvertent groin strikes during the fight.
Blood Diamond entered this bout on a two-fight losing skid, his last fight being a decision loss over a year ago at UFC 277.
