Australian fighters Damien Brown (pictured left) and Ben Alloway (pictured right) will both appear on the Cage Warriors 65 event scheduled to take place in Ireland on March 1.

Alloway will take on Jack Mason while Damien Brown faces off against Paul Redmond. The promotion confirmed the news via press-release on Monday.

For Alloway (12-5), it will be his first outing since being dropped from the UFC following back-to-back losses to Ryan LaFlare and Zak Cummings. Since then to support his family and get his life back on track, the 32 year-old welterweight fighter has taken up a job in the mines on the other side of the country in Western Australia.

Alloway revealed in an interview with The MMA Corner, that the majority of his camp will be in Western Australia where the former TUF Smashes contestant has found some guys to roll and spar with.

“I’m excited, I’m hungry and I’m healthy again for the first time in 12 months,” said Alloway via the Cage Warriors press-release. “This is Jack Mason’s ‘big fight’ and I hope he brings his A-game because I’m coming hard.”

It will be Alloway’s second appearance in Cage Warriors after debuting in the U.K based promotion back in early 2012, prior to his UFC tenure.

Alloway’s opponent Jack Mason is a veteran of the sport with 28 fights under his belt for a record of 26-12. Mason is a Cage Warriors regular and comes into the fight with only two losses in his last 11 fights. His coming off a December win against Seydina Seck via unanimous decision.

“As soon as I heard that Ben Alloway had signed for Cage Warriors, it was a fight I was interested in,” Mason was quoted in the press-release. “He’s fun to watch and I like his aggressive style so I’m looking forward to getting in there and taking a dominant win.”

Damien Brown (10-5) gets another opportunity in Cage Warriors after losing his promotional debut back in December. The Integrated MMA fighter lost a unanimous decision to French fighter Julien Boussuge in Jordan.

“I’m looking forward to giving the Cage Warriors fans in Ireland what they want to see,” said Brown via the press-release. “But it won’t be in the hands of the judges this time as I’m coming to finish it.”

His opponent will have the home-town crowd on his side with 27 year-old Paul Redmond hailing from Dublin, Ireland. Like Brown, Redmond too comes into the fight on the back of a loss after being submitted by Mateusz Teodorczuk on the Cage Warriors New Years show last month.

Redmond said, “After my last performance I just want to get back in there again. I was back in the gym two days later fixing everything in my game, so I can’t wait for this fight now.”

The event will be headlined by former UFC fighter John Maguire who will face-off against Saul Rogers.

    Fight Card Announced:

    • John Maguire vs Saul Rogers
    • Benny Alloway vs Jack Mason
    • Alex Enlund vs Artem Lobov
    • Bryan Creighton vs Damien Rooney
    • Damien Brown vs Paul Redmond
    • Lew Long vs Philip Mulpeter
    • Paddy Pimblett vs Martin Sheridan
