Anton Zafir will make his return to the Octagon on July 8 when he faces Li Jingliang.
The UFC announced the addition of the welterweight bout to the TUF 23 Finale earlier today along with two other fights.
Zafir, who made his UFC début on the record-breaking UFC 193 card back in November, is relishing the opportunity to fight with a full camp and to compete during the promotions biggest week of the year.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of fighting a tough and experienced opponent. To be able to do it in the Mecca of international fights, Vegas, during International Fight week…I mean there is no other way to describe it except that I’m super pumped and really looking forward to the next 12 weeks getting ready,” Zafir told Fight News Australia.
His opponent Jingliang is 10-4 and is coming off a loss against Japanese veteran Keita Nakamura.
