New Zealand fighter Kieran Joblin will look to defend his Carnage In The Cage (CITC) lightweight title for a second time tomorrow night when he faces Queensland veteran Jai Bradney in the main event of CITC 6. Former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Chris Indich returns to action against Anthony Johns in a middleweight title clash.

The event takes place at the Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre in North Queensland.

Twenty-seven year old Joblin has lost only once in his last 10 bouts, with wins coming against the likes of Ian Schaffa, Ben Wall and in his most recent outing against Oriol Gaset. Trained by Karl Webber in Canterbury, New Zealand, Joblin fights in the promotion for the third time after previously defeating Gokhan Turkyilmaz and Taela Kelly in title fights.

A veteran of over 30 professional bouts across MMA and Muay-Thai, Jai Bradney will be looking to dethrone the champion. Bradney last competed back in December where his bout against Chris Drummond ended in a disappointing no-contest. Bradney made his debut back in 2007 and has gone to pick up wins against the likes of Rob Hill, Ian Schaffa and Nick Honstein throughout his career.

A member of the Australian team on ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs Canada’, Chris Indich competes for the first time since being released from the UFC. Indich lost both outings in the UFC against fellow Australians Richard Walsh and in his last outing back in June 2014, against Vik Grujic.

In that time, Anthony “Angry Panda” Johns has burst on the scene with impressive wins against Michael McDaniel, Maui Tuigamala and Keohu Smith. The Gold Coast based fighter, who trains with UFC middleweight Dylan Andrews, will look to add a title to his record when he faces Indich for the vacant CITC middleweight title.

Also on the card, Kimo Smith faces Daniel Hill while in what will be an entertaining contest, Aden Hawke comes up against Kairin Moses.

The event will be streaming the card live via an online stream at Cleeng.
